Just back from Las Vegas. I was there showing the new Rebel8 collection at the MAGIC trade show. It's the biggest fashion trade show in America. It's bananas. I hate it, but it's rad seeing old friends, like...

Bobby, owner of Tribal Streetwear, and Crazy Legs of the legendary Rock Steady Crew.

My buddy Greg Carroll.

Burque homies Jessica and Eric.

Tribal models Kat and Anita.

West Coast legend, King 157.

My homie Masa from Osaka.

Matt from Upper Playground and Juxtapoz.

Micky from UP.

My publisher Roger.

Willy Santos!

And the REBEL8 trade show crew. (L to R: myself, Georgia, Hank, Joshy, and Aisha)
And here's some more random flics from Vegas...

What?

Sick bus. Wackest jeans ad ever.

Thanks for the bubbly, Vitti!

The King? I think not.

Beautiful car at the Joker Brand booth.

Stupid Hummer in front of the convention center.

Or Hell, depending.

The show floor is exhausting. This lady was beat. (My homie Ben got the flic on the sneak tip.)
I got back to NM last night. Found these rip-offs in my e-mail box. Thanks, Robert Dybala. He got the first one in Hong Kong last year.

The front of the shirt read Orange Soda Graphix.

This is the original, a REBEL8 graphic released in fall/winter 2005.

Anybody seen the front of my book, Manifestations? This one is so gross.
I spoke with my partner at REBEL8 about all the rip-offs, and we both agreed that I should chill on posting my drawings on this blog. Since the start, my intent with this blog was to share my work and lifestyle with fellow artists. It's unfortunate that my willingness to share has been taken advantage of, but it's something that happens in the commercial marketplace a lot. I know it won't stop, but I don't feel like making it easier for the rip-off artists.
So, I won't be posting my drawings on here anymore. Instead, I will focus on photography and writing about issues related to my life as an artist.
If you'd like to view my new work, please go to REBEL8.com. Each season we release new printed goods. We will have a new site on-line very soon. We're also moving into publishing soon. We've got big things planned for the future. Thanks to all of you that have supported us thusfar.
Also, I'm currently laying out a 96-page catalog which will be available for my opening in Paris on April 21st. I'll have some copies available on my site in May.
Next stop, El Salvador!
