Our boat guest Trixie.
I love my water bottle.
Towing "Moon Jelly" for the first time.
We got there at 1pm and the cove was quickly filling up... Lots of pushing boats off each other as current and breeze moves them back and forth.
SFPD, Oakland PD, Coast Guard, SFFD, Sherifs department, and who knows what under cover... So many official boats to get everything in check... I felt weird drinking a beer.
Hilarious watching people flail about trying to anchor.
Check the machine guns on the bow.
Just 2 hours till game time.
Posey arriving by boat.
Wonder why they're towing this boat out of there.
Funniest boat name we saw: "Hands in Hands, Bail Bonds"
This guy ruled.
Closer to game time more characters arrived.
We BBQ'd up some hotdogs.
Everyone had these massive flat screens on their boats.
National Anthem time.
Fly over out of focus.
This guy was trying to get a better view.
Right as the game was to begin this intense sunlight broke through the dense cloud cover.
The lighting was really cool... God is a Giants fan.
He was up there for awhile.
Clouds Looked amazing!
I felt like shit and even though it's nice to be close to the game, we opted to head home to catch the rest on TV...
Hope you don't get this cold, it sucks, but hey, the Giants have won 2 thus far. Who would have thought? Can you imagine how nuts the city would be with a World Series win on Halloween?!
Oh, here's a LA Times story on Mcovey Cove during game one and how wild it can get.
