First let's remind you of Thursday night's adventures- FECAL FACE'S 7.5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW/ PARTY which is going down at 111 Minna here in San Francisco. This is one of our greatest shows to date with 40 artists from San Francisco and around the world. The Dodos will be performing at 9pm and are really really good. So happy to have them playing for our show!... All the good times run till 2am.
Went and checked out Swan Songs At Hamburger Eyes yesterday.
I really thought these photos were photoshopped or something but they're actually astrophotographs from Robert Gendler.
And we said hi to Ray.
Jon's a rad feller.
Last week we took the old yacht to the Plastic Classics race and party thingy...
Fiber glass was developed and used to create boats like in the 60s. Any fiberglass boat pre 1970 is considered a plastic classic and our 1969 Coronado fits that bill.
Wolfe came through for some cheeseburger eating.
We stayed all night and drank at the Bay View crusty ass Yacht club. Beers are only $2.50 which makes getting on and off the boat tough at low tide.
We slept outside
and woke up hungover.
and made our way to the ramp for breakfast.
and saw this god machine.
napping off hangovers
back to Alameda downwind
downwind on the jib.
Rick isn't hydrated.
Went and visited Fish's studio which you'll see more of next week on the site.
Rick and the Fish with beers in the North Beach
Don't know what happened, but I've turned into a jock... Go Tigers, Giants, and the A's?
You're right. Bonds does have a big head.
I can't believe that the Eagle Drift closed!
and we said bye to Yohei as he heads back to his native Tokyo after spending like 12 years in SF. Gonna miss you. See you soon!
and then invited previous dinner guests out on El Diablo.
If you ever get the chance to speak with Andrew, do cause the guy is nice as hell and is such a solid dude. Makes me want to move to Australia. Is everyone over there that fucking cool?!
and then we dropped him off feed, alcohol set, and sun burnt for his flight back home to Australia. Later, Andrew. See you in a few months.
and then waited for Bonds to hit another.
bart to see the Tigers beat the As.
Rob is a chef there and brought us some food straight to our seat. nice...
after the game we decided to walk 5 miles to sleep on our boat and stopped through the burnt out warehouse where there was a huge fire a couple weeks prior... Love dark crusty spaces.
freaky as we heard others moving about in the darkness.
if you fixed this bad boy up... you'd have one tough looking boat.
and the old old houses of Alameda.
this is what he should be doing.
