How would you describe your work to someone?
Photographs that are made out of love.

Working routine? Music? Time of day?
If I'm not shooting my work time starts in the morning and goes into the afternoon. I like to get up and drink a ton of coffee while I start emails and working on photos. Music? Definitely! It all depends on my mood and energy level. I also like to stream NPR and keep up with the news while I work too.
How do you pay the bills?
By shooting editorial and odd photo-related jobs.
Describe your process for creating new work.
Meeting someone who inspires me and throwing ideas back and forth. Then thinking about the potential photos we could make and getting really excited about it!

Hasselblad 503cw, Nikon F100.
What are you really excited about right now?
Summertime rooftop beers!

Splurge on my parents and friends. And buy a beautiful studio in the countryside.
Best way to spend a day off?
Hanging out with friends, going to museums or galleries, park lounging.
What do you love most about where you live?
The diversity of cultures. And the close proximity to the most amazing art and artists.

I'm part of the Cheaper Show in Vancouver at the end of June. I'm also working on a little self published book.
