Today's email -- A Chicago based Fecal Fan emailed letting us know they will be coming to San Francisco for a few days in mid March. The problem is he doesn't know how to spend his time, as he writes, any thoughts about what I should do and see (other galleries, gallery areas?), where I should eat, etc.?
Unfortunately, we have a short week this week and are completely too busy to help plan their trip. Any readers out there wanna help a fellow Fecal Fan/ art aficionado discover some rad parts of SF to enjoy? Read his words and leave a comment.
Hi. I have been following the Fecal Face stuff with interest for a while.
I'm from Chicago, and in mid-March I'll be in SF for a few days. I like art, mainly contemporary but all art, and especially the sort of art you talk about and show.
I know this is a pretty vague question, but, if I'm there in SF, staying near Union Square, like that sort of art and culture, and am totally comfortable with cabs or BART or whatever (but won't have a car), any thoughts about what I should do and see (other galleries, gallery areas?), where I should eat, etc.?
I'm having trouble tapping into that sort of info. I either find the airline magazine-type three perfect (touristy) days in SF, or else food advice from sites like Chowhound.
Any advice of any kind would be greatly appreciated!!
