Saturday night arting. 2/10/07
^ My Favorite Color @White Walls
^ 33 Knots @The Shooting Gallery
^ Fast Forward / Rewind @Gray Gallery
A rainy rainy Saturday and too many art shows to check out.
One of the best parts about down-pours is that you're forced to take a cab, and in cabs you can drink beer.
Even though the rain was heavy heavy, there were lots of people moving around town.
Over to White Walls first. Damon Soule
Alan from Art Business
Tim McColiff (SP?)
Forgot who did this one.
Then over to Shooting Gallery next door where our old friend Mike Maxwell was showing some work with Paul Chatem.
The title of the show is 33 Knots. Nautical themed.
Paul Urich and Mike Maxwell
Then over to Gray Gallery, but unfortunatly I was already pretty sauced and didn't really check out the art too much. Meagan and Stefan not sauced.
They were off hidden in the back of the gallery but had video cameras on them that projected them in the front of the gallery. Superimpossed.
Chris Pew's painting- wonderbar!
The Mall were great as always
Ran into Miles and Teresa
Closing at Pop's.
We followed the French girl to the Euro party.
Ugh. where we patricpated in a jam band... participate in a jam band? Retard-O drunk.
That's ok. Drink it off the next day as we had our first guests on the boat. After Tiffany's studio visit, we showed her and Jack our Yacht.
And good news on the Fecal office front. Jane Kim is our newest intern (helper's a better word). We finally got some shit mailed out! Check out Jane's site. She does some really nice paintings like the one below.
This is 5 feet by 4 feet and is done with stecils. She has a show coming up that we'll let you know about soon.
Have a good night.
